Can anyone help me? My great-grandparents {John & Mary Ewart} came from Cty Down,Ireland. Their 1st child, James Ewart, was also born in Cty Down, Ireland abt 1851. His parents were John Ewart & Mary Pink who married 7 Dec 1846 in Donaghadee, Cty Down where James was born.
The family emigrated to Canada sometime after James was born and all other children were born in Canada.
Can anyone give me info' on John Ewart & Mary Pink - where they were born, who their parents were, etc.... All we know is that John had a brother, James, who did NOT emigrate & they were all Mariners & Ship Owners out of Donaghadee & were all Presbyterians.
