| Trying to find birth of Mary THOMPSON aka ADAM. According to Census 1881 she was born in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire. She was married to James Marshall MACREADIE and her mother was Elizabeth ms BLAIR, later married to John ADAM. When Mary died the registration of death was done by her mother who then declared that Mary was illegitimate - her marriage lines indicated her father was William THOMPSON (deceased) but her death registration document gave the father as James THOMPSON.
