| Looking for an old friend from ww2.Her name was Daphne Sawyer and we were serving together at RAF Fazakery,Liverpool in 1940.I left at the end of that year to train as aircrew,but had a brief meeting with her in Oxford in the spring 1942 before going abroad with my squadron.Like me,Daphne will be her eighties.I would love to hear from you,Daphne,and how life has treated you.I was known to you as 'Ray'in those far off days |
