The 1901 Census states that my great grandfather, JAMES GREY/GRAY was born in Ireland - no idea where. I've always been led to believe that the family were Welsh and have no idea where to look next.
I don't know when he moved to Wales but was married to ALICE RICHARDS in Glamorgan in 1878 at the age of 30. I also believe this may have been his second marriage.
If anyone can help in any way, I'd be very grateful - so far my search has been fruitless.
