| Looking for information on my fathers family. My father is Robert Charles BARBER, son of Henry William BARBER, Sr. and Marie Irene SHUMAKER. Henry was born in Kent, England on 28 September 1903, the son of Robert William BARBER, born 27 April 1869, Newcastle Street, East Greenwich, England and Sofie COLLINS, born 9 August 1870, Jackson Street, Woolwitch Commons, England. Other children of Robert William BARBER and Sofia Collins were: Robert James BARBER, Rachel Sofia BARBER, Dorothy Louisa BARBER, Edith May BARBER, George Christopher BARBER, Leonard Charles BARBER, Elsie Victoria BARBER, Percy Frederick BARBER, Gladys Louise BARBER, and Elenor Marie BARBER. Gladys, Percy and Elenor were born in Canada. The family migrated to MooseJaw, Canada in the early 1900's and then into the USA. I have nothing past Robert William BARBER and Sofie COLLINS, and I would be grateful for any information on this BARBER and COLLINS line. Thanks, Sue |
