Researching my great grandfather, James Kean b/Edinburgh Scotland abt. 1848. Father was William Kean, a Type Founder.
James married Ann Connelly from Ireland, on Nov 5, 1871 in the Parish of St Andrew, Holborn London. Ann must have died between 1874 and 1881 as James shows up in the 1881 England Census as ae 33, a widower, with two young sons..James Joseph Kean ae 9, b/1872 and William Thomas Kean ae 7, b/1874. Both boys born in England.
Would appreciate hearing from anyone who may connect/ or know of this family. I would like to trace their line in Scotland.
