John Bernard born 1900 Sunderland
George William Martin died during the Boer War. Mary Ann, his wife remarried, possibly to a John BURKE (she was living with him in 1901). The Martins settled in Leeds Yorkshire.
John Bernard Martin left home at age 12 to be a ship boy and eventually joined the Merchant Navy. He fought in WW1 and then immigrated to Australia about 1926 - married and had a child, Jacqueline in 1929 Sydney area. Jacqueline is looking for any relatives she might have in England and Wales.
It is believed Frederick settled in Wales. |
