| I am searching for parents or siblings of John Cresswell, b. 1791 d. 5 Apr 1867 in Clerkenwell, London. He has lived in Coppice Row, Clerkenwell, and was a Brass Founder. John was married to a Mary Sheppard, no details available. Their son James, b.1822, d. 26 Jul 1896, was an Optician in Clerkenwell and at one time lived at 24 Compton Street. His death was notified by his niece Agnes Brookes of 84 Southampton Street. My late father thought that James had two brothers, names unknown, one of whom emigrated to Australia.
