Hi,
I am researching the Hamilton line, descendants of Archbishop John Hamilton 1512-1571 he married Grizel Semple/Semphill. I have the family tree back to Archibald Hamilton b 23.1.1720/21 married Agnes Hyndman 4.3.1742. His father was John Hamilton b 20.5.1701 he married Mary Wright. We have family history of the Archbishop however the history of between 1571 to 1721 has been lost. He had 3 sons William,John and David and 4 daughters Margaret, Jellis, Helen and Agnes that we know of. Any help with this line would be appreciated. |
