This is a complete longshot I know, nut I have hit a brick wall with tracing information about my adoption. England GRO says I am adopted, Scotland GRO did but then backtracked and said they "made a mistake as they where confused".
My family has told me I am too, so it points to yes. However, apart from the facts that I was born in Irvine, Scotland in the summer of 1976
I know nothing more.
Would anybody, anybody at all, know if a child was given up for adoption at that time and in Irvine Central hospital? It was also a complicated birth if that helps ending in a c-section possibly.
Maybe you knew someone who did, family or friend?
its a longshot but I just need to know who I really am and being up for adoption has not made me angry in any way. Not at all. I just need to knwo who I really am.
I dont know if this post will help, but if anybody knows anything, or remembers the slightest thing please will you contact me.
Any information will be treated in confidence, after all, its my personal history too.
