| Hi, I am looking for information n the Brown/Peebles families. James Brown married Elizabeth Peebles in Glascow 1871 both were ages 19. James was a ships steward. They came to New Zealand shortly after their marriage. James was drowned at sea I believe near South Afica. Elizabeth died in 1892 leaving 6 children. James father was William Brown married to Agnes nee Reid. He was a master tailor. Elizabeth's father was Hugh Peebles a ships furnishing ironmonger he was married to Mary nee Watson. Is their someone also researching these families. |
