Hello,
Help, Help, Is there anyone out there who has a Samuel Slater who married Emily Turner Dec. 25, 1880 parish of Leeds, county of York. Samuel's father was James slater also a joiner and I have no idea who Samuel's mother was. Samuel came to Montreal, Quebec, Canada around 1883 and I have heard that they lived near Shorncliffe, Kent before coming to Canada. Looking for the Slaters left in England. Also, Emily's father was John Turner also a joiner. Any info on the Turners in England, siblings etc...Thanks.
