Hello,
I am searching my Stratford line and I have come across a John Stratford of Farmcott, marrying Mary Throgmorton b.1534 Standish, Gloucester. This is in my tree but now I have heard of another John Stratford of Chastelton, Oxfordshire, marrying a Mary Throckmorton in 1587. Are the names Throckmorton (very popular) and Throgmorton (hardly any) the same name?? I am confused because I have seen another tree with the first John Stratford of Farmcott, gloucester marrying a Mary Throckmorton. Can anyone help me with this mess? Maybe someone could tell me who John Stratford's parents of Chastelton are??
