I am trying to find any relatives of my grandmother Alice Elizabeth Jones. She was a Hosiers Clerk and gave birth to my mother Pamela Margaret on 10th July 1921 at 13 Rayleigh Road, Hammersmith. My mother Pamela was 'adopted' by Frederick and Murial Pearce sometime within the next year. They then moved to Hadleigh, Essex.
I never knew that my mum was adopted - until after her death - but remembered that she had fallen out with the woman I had always thought was my grandmother (Murial Pearce)some years ealier. My mum died never knowing who her real mother was or if she had any other relatives.
I realise that many years have passed but if there is anyone out there with Alice Elizabeth Jones in their history and they think there may be a connection please contact me.
