I was born on 18th MAY 1975 at ST LUKES HOSPITAL, GUILDFORD. My birth name was LAURA JANE GRIFFITHS, I am now Laura Jane Spencer. My birth was registered on 27th May 1975. I went to foster parents around this time, and was reigisterd as adopted around October 1975.
My mothers maiden name is DIANE GRIFFITHS, I think one of her middle names is VIOLET. I think she was born in BURTON-ON-TRENT, but was living at RAF ANDOVER, when I was born. My fathers name is Adam Tate Regan, I'm not sure if Regan is his surname or one of his middle names.
I was adopted through SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL. From the description I have of my mother we seem to look quite alike - I have dark brown hair with auburn tints, green eyes and a big smile!!
I am interested in finding out more family history but do not want to create any havoc for my birth parents new families. I have had a fabulous upbringing and my adopted parents are brilliant. The curiousity just lingers I suppose. I any of this rings any bells please contact me.
