| ARGYLSHIRE RELATIVES: searching for MCLEANs from Loch Awe region, travelled with family of Lauchlan & Sally SINCLAIR (Corriboughie?)to Canada approx 1820. Duncan MCLEAN 1793-96)marr. their daughter, Mary SINCLAIR (1795-96) abt.1818 in Scotland. Posibly 1 of 2 children, Archibald and Christina, born in Scotland (near Lochgilphead or Loch Fyne. Children, Sarah and Duncan, born in Ontario, Canada. Mary died 1834 and Duncan married Catherine MCKINLEY in 1836. She was born in Oban(Aug. 1806)before emigrating to Canada. Did they leave any relatives behind? Thank you. |
