| John Wilson married Ann (surname unkown) about 1760-1770, probably in Midlothian, and they may have lived in or near Dalkeith. By 1780 they are said to have had six children (all baptised Presbyterian), found iron and coal on their land, lost money, and left for England. No Scottish records yet found. Any pointers would be most welcome. |
