I am searching for my birth daughter Amanda Cane (adoptive name ). Amanda was born on the 28 August 1965 at the Nuffield Maternity Home in Oxfordshire. Her adoption order was granted on the 14/4/1966 at Reading County Court.
Amanda was adopted by John and Nancy Cane who lived in Woodley in Reading in the mid nineteen sixties.
A recent search of the marriages tells me that Amanda has not been married in the UK, and she is none of the single ladies of that name.
Thankyou to everybody who has contacted me with information.
Any information most greatly appreciated.
