| Searching for information on my great great grandparents. GGgrandfather was William Probert, an iron worker, b. 1852 in Pontlottyn, Glamorgan, d. Apr 1899. GGgrandmother was Hannah Richards b. 01 Mar 1858 in Rhymney, Monmouth, d. 13 June 1920 in Des Moines, Iowa, USA. In the 1881 British census they were living at 28 Plantation St.Back, Bedwellty, Monmouth, and had 2 daughters, Magdalene Margaret b. 1877 and Mary Ann b. 1879. They immigrated to the US by 1888. Any information is greatly appreciated. |
