I am looking for a Patrick Ryan and his wife most probably born Ireland.They came over to Scotland.
Their son was William Ryan born approx 1856 in Scotland according to the 1881 census.
Patrick was a Tailor.
William Ryan became a potter.
William Ryan married Mary Ryan ne Smiles in 1877. Their son my Grandfather was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland England in 1879.
In 1901 William was living in Stockton Co Durham England.
Any information would help no matter how small.
