| I have lost the Alexander McMillan (b 3/6/1853)and Annie (nee Cuthbertson)family after the 1881Census.They had Jane Morgan McMillan b 25/1/1876,Margaret Dickie McMillan b 11/12/1879 and my grnadmother Annie Caroline McMillan b 24/12/1884. I can't find them in the 1891 census and perhaps Alexander died and the family split up.I have tracked the families back but between my grandmother's birth and marriage I can't find them.They lived in Cumnock,Auchinleck, Lugar district and I wondered if there had been a disaster in the Lugar Ironworks at that time. |
