Hi all
My uncle's mother's name was either Gertrude Johnston (more likely) or Gertrude Gibbins. She was born about 1897. I know that she married someone called George Whitehouse on June 3rd 1939 and was registered at Birmingham Register Office.
My uncle was given up for adoption in 1929. His mother would have died by now, but he would love to find any living relatives.
