| Ellen phillips(nee March)married to John Phillips chief coastguard. Known to have lived at Rathmullen, Co.Donegal in Nov1870 when son Alfred James was born. Ellen known to be Irish and could also have come from mariner family. Other children known to be Arthur William d. H.M.S.Tipperary 1916 aged 32yrs, Ernest George, married Maude Buchanan, Australia 1907,Edward, Jack and Cecily. Alfred James was my grandfather who spent his life in the Royal Navy and died in Scotland 1920's. Has anyone heard of this family? |
