I am reaserching my fathers family of Jennings originally from Lutterworth in Leicestershire. In about 1850 Henry,Isacc,Mary and Elizabeth sailed with their family's to Galveston, they would have been in their 50's I think, unfortunatly Isacc drowned on the voyage. I think Mary was married to a Joseph Painter and Elizabeth's married name was Newbold.
The rest of the family moved to Birmingham UK they were William,Thomas,John,Ann and David. |
