Looking for data/history etc. - surnames - MORRIS,
BENNETT,TALBOT -district of Surrey, Walworth.
This is my paternal line and I am most anxious to
find MANY twigs and branches of these trees. Time
is running out! This is all I have after 10 yrs of
searching;
James MORRIS & Elizabeth (unknown)were blessed with three children; Mary Ann b. 1828, William born 1833 and John Samuel born 1836. All three were christened - 01 March 1837, St. Peter's -
Walworth, Surrey England. I do not have ANY info'
for Mary Ann or William. John Samuel MORRIS -
was my great grandfather. At age 30 yrs, a bachelor,he married - Emily BENNETT - age 26 yrs -
a spinster, at S.Paul district church of St. Mary
Newington, Surrey. Shortly thereafter they emigrated to Toronto On Canada and were blessed
with three children; Johnnie S. Jr. b. 1874,
Arthur ( my grandfather) b. 1875, and Emily b. 1880-d. 1881. I have the family history from
this time forward, however, have nothing from
prior to their marriage (1867)
I know that Emily BENNETT's fathers name was-
James BENNETT (spouse unknown) and also that a sibling, Frederick Charles BENNETT marr. Elizabeth
TALBOT (same place/parish etc as above listed)
and another sibling, George BENNETT emigrated
to Australai c. 1890 and was last heard from in 1910. GREATLY appreciate hearing from anyone
searching these surnames or that can assist me in
my search. Willing to share my data.
