I am at the beginning of searching for both my birth parents. Currently, I only have some information on my birth mother. Her name is Allison and at the time of my birth her surname was James. She was born on the 31st October 1953, which would make her 50 this year. She was one of eight children and her parents were Margaret & Thomas (surname unknown) they lived in the Mountain Ash area, possibly in 'Rheola Villas'.
I was born on Friday, 29th June 1979 in the Heath Hospital, Cardiff. My birth mother put me up for adoption early on in the pregancy as she was divorcing her then husband and I was born with a physical disability. The last piece of information I have of her is that she left South Wales and moved to Oxfordshire in 1982, where she later re-married.
If anybody reading this has any kind of information (no matter how insignifcant it may seem), please, please contact me as I'd like to find her & possibly my birth father, someday.
