I have been trying for some time to connect with anyone in the UK who is or has searched or even knows of anyone who has research the surname WOODBURY. In the late 1500's early 1600's a John Woodbury was born in Burlescombe and moved to East Coker about 1600. He was married to Joanna Humphrey and had 3 children. Joanna died 1601. He joined the Dorchester Co. and sailed for America about 1623 he returned to England in 1627 and married Anne (Agnes) Napper of Harding-Mandeville, dau. of Thomas Napper. The returned to America in 1628 with his brother William and families. I could use some help with this family. Larry.Wert@att.net
