I have found a record of birth for my gr-gr-gr-granfather James Johnston b. 14 Sep 1802 Ashkirk, Roxburgshire, Scotland. Parents Henry Johnstone & Nelly Glendining. I believe James married Janet (Jeanette)Tait. Hoping to find a record of their marriage & possible more info for Henry & Nelly.
I'm 'assuming' this all took place in Ashkirk.
I would appreciate any help.
