I wanted to share about a special book that tells the story of your own child’s adoption and your journey to bring them home. It is a personalised keepsake for your child that describes the magnificence of your own family's love through adoption. It has been a great treasure for our family and every time we read it to our children, they feel our family’s love through their very own story. We got it from http://www.memoriescherished.com and it seems to be just the right amount of information to promote their understanding of their own adoption journey while (most importantly) allowing them to truly grasp our love for them and how our lives have joyfully changed because of that love. You fill in your own family’s information online, and the book is laser printed and hardcover bound for you.
The book contains basic birth information like city/country of birth, first place/time we met our child, where we met our child, date of adoption, first toy, first visitors, who traveled, home forever day, and beautiful adoption poetry that expresses the depths of our love for our children and how they have changed our lives that moves us to tears each time we read it, and our children want to read it again and again…can’t find a better bedtime story than their own. Just thought I would share this treasure.
