Eli Stock born in Rowberrow Somerset,married Emma Dean in 1838.Moved to St George Bristol ,where he managed the Blacksworth Smelting Works.
In 1862,he managed and later owned the Penclawdd Copper and Lead Works in Gower Swansea.
His children were Clara, Edwin, Mary, and Louisa Helena.
Louisa married Reuben Martin Evans of Abercrave.
