i want to make contact with my mother EDNA BAKER whom my father, STANLEY YORKE(jamaican) met in Tipton(near Dudley) during the 50's.
soon after, they both moved to live in Glasgow, Scotland where my brother, ALLAN YORKE(3/7/57) and myself(16/5/59) were born.
my father and mother separated around early 1960's which is when my father put ALLAN and I in a children's home for approx:3.years(Quarriers Homes, near Glasgow).
i moved to East Staffordshire(1980's) and am now living in Birmingham with my daughter, Rudie.
i am unable to get in touch with ALLAN, who still lives in Scotland(he disassociated himself from the family several years ago. my father was a nightmare to him)
i no longer communicate with my father but keep in touch with my step-family(Scotland) who are genuine ok!
i have had my share of life and 'it's' complexities so be assured that my search to talk with my mother is mature and sincere.
if my mother is living, we are both in our 'age' and there is still time to tell each other our 'stories' of joy, struggles and humour.
