| According to tradition, ancestor William GRIFFITH, born at or near Cardigan; was kidnapped at about age 18 while visiting London, smuggled to Bristol in secrecy and then shipped to Maryland in America, 1676; and said to be descended from some Welsh princes (?). Does any GRIFFITH family record in Wales have a tradition of a William GRIFFITH who disappeared around this time? |
