The Purdy family of Goulbourne, Ontario, Canada are looking for any records of Henry Purdy, who married "Charlotte", and immigrated to Canada sometime between 1790 and 1828. The only information we have is that they originated from Northern Ireland (pos. Antrim) and had the following children: Robert, Mary Jane, Henry Paul, and William.
The last record we have of Charlotte is in the 1852 Nepean, Ontario census where she was living with her daughter Mary who married a James Burrows. In every generation that follows there seems to be a Charlotte Purdy, but they are all born after 1800. Charlotte was married to Henry Purdy, who was deceased in 1852. They were possibly Presbyterian.
