| I am searching for any information re James and Jane Croaker (Croker?). They came to Australia in 1858 aboard the vessel Ascendant. With them came Emma George. I am unsure if Emma was Jane Croaker's sister or her daughter. Family stories tell us that Jane came from Bristol. I have no paperwork to support this. Jane and James also travelled with their infant daughter Mary Ann (Anne) or Polly as she is or was known to us. The family lived in Dalby, Queensland Australia. Emma became Mrs Goodfellow then Mrs Julius Otto. |
