Wondering if any "girls" who went to Raley Girls Modern School in Barnsley, Yorks., around? I was in Miss Morrison's class, Standard 1A,2A and 3A from 1939 or 40 until April, 1942. It's been a long time since then, but who knows, somebody may remember those days.I live here way out in Arizona. My daughter and I visited Barnsley and went to visit the old school site. Very different now! Didn't meet anybody from school. Just a man who lived near our house in Pogmoor. I heard that several people moved to Australia.Barnsley changed for the better, except Locke Park, which saddened me.My maiden name was GUEST. Does that "ring a bell"?
