I have recently decided that I would like to trace my roots but don't
know too much about my birth mother. All I know is that I was born in Cuckworth,
West Sussex, in August 1971. I think that my birth name was Carol Haysom. I
think that she might have been single at that time so her name could have
changed. but I still have to try and get a copy of my birth certificate.
When I was adopted in Edinburgh, my name was changed to Margaret McDonald.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
