Looking for information on James Devereux who married Mary Doyle. They had 4 children Baptised in Ballypierce. It is a townland within the Parish of Barragh, Barony of Upper St. Mullin in County Carlow, Ireland.

Thier children where Baptised between 1834 and 1841. Those children being, Thomas, Michael, Mary, and Judy. Thier daughter Julia ( unknown Baptismal date ) married Patrick Roach/Roache 02/03/1856 in Roman Catholic Chapel, Crowsgrove, Ireland.

Thier son Thomas imigrated to the United States in 1864. He was visiting his brother Michael. Family stories tell Michael then shortly after returned back to Ireland.

Thomas remaind and married Margaret Jane Callen/Callan. Her parents where Peter/Patrick Callen/Callan and Jane Morgan. They imigrated in 1850 abord the Star of the West. Also accompanied by Catherine/Katherine Morgan. The 18 year old sister to Jane ( nee' Morgan ) Callen/Callan. They settled in Carbon Co., Pennsylvania.

James Devereux was listed as sponsor to his grand childs Baptismal in 1861 in Clonegal Church, ireland.

In 1852 on page 165 number 5, shows James Devereux with 24 acres 2 rods and 6 perches, consisting of a house, offices and land within the townland of Ballyperce, Parish of Kildavan, a village or hamlet lying on cross-roads, about 1 mile west of Clonegal, four miles north of Myshall and 14 miles east of Carlow ( all in County Carlow ) and about 2 miles northwest of Newtonbarry in County Wexford.

Jane Morgan - Callan/Callen's father was John Morgan and her mother was Mary ( ? ). It is belived her maiden name was McBride.

Peter/Patrick Callen/Callan and Jane Morgan had thier children Baptised in Dundalk, Louth Co., ireland. between 1838 and 1849.

Looking for any help on these families. All the information i have on them in ireland was just given ... in this post.
