Looking for information regarding the Sherrah/Sherrak/Sharah/Sherra (and other derivatives of this name) family in Southern Wales at any time. I understand this name is not a common one. My great x3 grandfather was Thomas Sherrah and he emigrated to Australia in c 1860's.
His father was John and mother was Mary and they had 15 children in total in the Brigend area. Have some census information regarding the family but am interested in finding John's parents (j was born 1807)
I have an extensive family history for Australia as 3 of the children of John and Mary ultimately emigrated here to Adelaide, Australia.
