seeking information on Princess Gwenllian of anglesey 1097-1136.she led her army into battle against the Norman forces of Maurice des Londres at Kidwelly in 1136.heavily outnumbered,she fought to the end until she was wounded and taken prisoner.she was then beheaded on the battlefield
by des londres.some chivalry!!!!!
I would be glad of any information on a brave woman who I am proud to have as ancestor.
