I am trying to find details on John Greig, christened Tingwall, Shetland Islands 8th April 1764...Married Janet Bearnson 13th Dec 1791.
They were supposed to have a son, James , born about 1804 but I cannot find any details. There is a James in the 1841 Tingwall census , married to a Janet Sclater, but no record of his birth in 1804....John and J. Bearnson had a son, John in 1799, but I can't find anything on James.
