I am searching for friends or relatives of Arthur James Ashworth. Son of George and Emily Ashworth and husband of Evelyn Ashworth of Salford, Lancashire.
Arthur was born on 29 November 1910 and died on 12 December 1943 (aged 33 years). He was educated at St. Margarets Central Boys School, Whalley Range, Manchester. He was employed by Provincial Insurance at their Head Office in Kendal, Westmorland before he joined the Navy as Ordinary Telegraphist on HMS Tynedale in September 1941. Arthur lived with his wife Evelyn at Briarcliffe, Castle Green Lane, Kendal.
