| I am trying to find my ggggrandmothers husbands. Her name was Matilda Sutherland born 1818 in Midlothian to George Sutherland and Margaret Cochrane.I believe she was married to a head master William Stephenson in 1838 at Latheron Caithness,she had a daughter in 1844 to a John or George Farquhar by the name of Jane then a daughter to John Munro in 1855 by the name of Isabella Munro who married Peter Smith in Nov 1873. I can't find any marriage certificates for these 2 marriages. She then married a John Beattie in 1864 in Old Machar Aberdeen. I am trying to piece all these together and hope these names ring a bell with someone out their. Thank You |
