| My grandmother's mother is listed as Margaret Grant Toolen, born Scotland around 1857. I have been unable to trace a birth under this name so I suspect she was born Margaret Grant and perhaps her mother remarried a Toolen. Margaret married a William Forse of Exeter, Devon. Can anyone shed any light on this elusive lady? Many thanks. |
