I hope that someone might be able to help me find my birth parents and/or any siblings I may have.
I was born in Portsmouth, Hampshire to Winifred M. and William Frederick JOYNES in March 1947 but was adopted at 11 days by Vernon and Daisy Seymour also of Portsmouth.
I have had a very happy life but have always wondered "where I came from" and I now have my Birth Certificate which states that my birth father came from Chaddesden, Derbyshire and my birth mum from Surrey.
Just to let you know, I don't have any bad feelings about my adoption - there are always reasons, but I'd love the chance to "find some real family of my own". That's if they will have me.
I really do hope that someone might be able to help me search.
Also, I'm trying to locate an old family friend by the name of Michael Dampier, he was married to Sylvia and they live in Low Eggborough, Nr Goole, Yorkshire back in the late 1960's to 1970's. Does anyone know where they might be now.
