I'm searching for any imformation on a girl that
I met and fell in love with during the War, her
name Florence Henderson she was a nurse in a North
Shields Hospital in 1941'her home town was Seaton
Delaval in Northumberland I was a patient at the
hospital a navy lad,on my leaving she joined the
A.T.S and we went on leave together'but on that
leave I said words that I should'nt have said and
she left,I was recalled back to my ship the same
day and sailed at short notice,I did'nt know her
army address although I tried my hardest to find
her'writing to her home and army imformation with
no success'I am terribley sorry for any hurt I may
have caused but would love to hear how life has
treated her,Ive never forgotten her after all these years(any imformation no matter how small)
would be greatly appreciated.
