| Great Grandfather born in Glasgow July 27th 1835; name was Alexander Thomas Walker. Fathered 11 children & 4 survived. One was my grandfather Charles and my great uncle Alex. Two are unaccounted for; James Crookshanks Walker, born 13 May 1867 and William George Walker born on 12 August 1869. They all grew up in Liverpool, England. I found them in the 1880 census. My great-grandmother was Catherine Cairns. |
