| Searching for birthplaces of Samuel Barnes and wife Hannah (unknown) who arrived in Canada at the port of Quebec in the summer of 1848. Children born in England--Edward 1838; Mary Ann 1841; George 1844; Jeremiah born on ship coming over to Canada; and children born in Canada--Samuel 1849;and Henry 1853. The family settled on Conc. 11, Lot 22 of Dawn Twp. They are buried in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Florence, Ontario, Canada. Hannah born 1807 and Samuel in 1811. |
