| I was adopted in 1935, in Scotland. I have managed to trace birth family of 2 half brothers and a half sister. Sadly they don't really want to corresspond. I would like to know how I was adopted, was it by an agency or a church?? My birth name was Agnes Neilson, there is no mention of a father on birth certificate.I was born at Leys Park Rd. Dunfermline on 4th February 1935. My adoption wasn't finalised until July 1949, when my adopted parents took me to South Africa. Any help appreciated.Betty |
