| I am trying to trace the ancestors of Elizabeth Lynn born around 1796.She married John Cardy in Dumfries in 1822,Their daughter Margaret was born in Carlisle then at some stage returned to Dumfries because they show up on the 1851 census in Maxwelltown. Margaret later married a William Bottomley who in the 1851 census was living in Dumfries with a previous wife Mary.Any info would be very much appreciated. |
