| I am trying to find information about my family, as well as find living relatives in Northern Ireland. My Grandparebts, my father and my uncles emigrated to the U.S. in the mid to late 1920s. The family seems to be from county Tyrone, possibly,Dungannon. My Grandfather's name was James Roy McNeill, born in 1885, and my Grandmother's maiden name was Mary Jane Farrell, Born in 1889. The other names I have any information on are Susan Beattie, who died in Killyman sometime in the 70s or 80s (I don;t have the date and I'm guessing) She might have been my grandmother's sister. There was also possibly a sister named Kate. I believe my grandmother's brother might have been Wilson Farrell, born in Jume of 1881. I also have a copy of an obituary for a Mrs Farrell (possibly Mary) who passed away in 1937. This might have been my grandmother's mother. Other than her age, I have no information to support this though. This Mrs Farrell is listed as a former principal of Killyman school. I would appreciate any information that anyone can provide. |
